Overview

Three exceptional hours where I will unveil to you Aix in all her glory: historical sites, scandals, winners and losers, hidden corners, secrets, sumptuous stories that will leave you breathless. What happened here? And why here of all places? We will weave in and out of shady picturesque alleyways in the historical center of Aix. We will observe fountains, houses, buildings, statutes, gardens and other interesting spots and tell the stories of the people who lived and died there, of those who fought for love – and won or lost. All this with culinary touches that only Aix can supply so prepare your taste buds for a feast of the senses.

    Observing the famous fountain.

    Wall along the famous boulevard, telling juicy stories about the houses along side and their famous inhabitants. On market days, can do some shopping!

    Observe architecture.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable introduction to the historical center of Aix. The combination of facts and stories of the people who used to live in the buildings made the history come alive. We also appreciated tips on how to find good local specialties of food, market products, etc., especially helpful since it was a market day.
