Overview

AuroraScapes: 95% success rate to see the Northern Lights on my hunting tours this season! Get picked up from your accommodation by an experienced local wilderness guide with extensive knowledge of Lapland and the Northern Lights. Head out to hunt for the Auroras far away from the city's light pollution and get dropped off back at your accommodation after the tour. AURORA GUARANTEE: If for any reason you don't get to see the Auroras during the tour despite my best efforts, your ticket price will be refunded to you in full! If a tour is unsuccessful or canceled altogether due to poor conditions, you can book a seat on a tour on the following days, based on availability. The tour happens only if the conditions are promising enough to see the Auroras. If we have to drive for longer to get to clear skies we'll leave earlier and in case of a shorter drive we leave later. Departure time changes between 17:00 and 20:00 and the duration of the tour can take anywhere from 6 to 12 hours.

  • Lapland

    We will drive to the most promising Aurora hunting area within a 400-500km one way driving distance, find the best spot we can and once we find clear skies we stay there for as long as the show lasts!

An amazing experience! It's my first time seeing the northern lights and would probably be the best. Velu is very friendly and is very passionate about northern lights. He would try his best for us to catch them. He also took great photos for us! Totally recommended!

Velu is a great guide. He did everything possible to ensure that we could see the aurora even though it was very cloudy. He took us to the north of Lapland and he did it. 100% recommended.

This is gonna be long because I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing this company is! Velu is a very dedicated individual who drove 7.5 hours out of the city just so my tour group could catch a good-looking bright aurora. He was always checking the apps and considering the best for the tour rather than to save money and time. Every other tour definitely returned to the city once they saw the dim lights at 10pm, but he pushed on and gave us an experience I can never forget! Laplandscapes Aurora tour is super well-prepared, with snacks and warm drinks and lamps for phototaking (even a tripod if you brought a DSLR!) and Velu is super knowledgeable about auroras and night sky phenomenon. There wasn’t a single boring moment even throughout the 7.5 hours hunt! Last and greatest, Velu is a professional with a heart. He is super understanding and friendly, and he doesn’t even drop focus from finding the building auroras even past midnight! I definitely won’t hesitate to book with him again if possible! TL:DR got 10 times my money’s worth with this tour!
