Our husky tour has a small-group guarantee. There will not be more than 16 participants. This means, that you can enjoy this great adventure without the feeling of mass tourism. Our huskies will take you to a great ride through Arctic nature. This is experience will be the highlight of your holiday in Lapland.

Itinerary

Our enthusiastic huskies will take to on a unique once-in-a lifetime experience, that will become the highlight of your winter holidays in Lapland. Let the dogs lead you through Arctic nature, while you enjoy the surrounding beauty. The activity time is including the transfer from Rovaniemi and back. After arrival to Parpalandia, the tour starts in the husky kennel. Here you will receive driving and safety instructions. After that, you are ready to take your place in the sled and start steering your own husky team. In this exciting adventure, we will be driving approximately 6-10km. We will take a break in the middle to take great pictures with our cute four-legged friends. Normally two people share a sled, one is steering and one sitting on the sled. It is possible, and recommended, to change the positions in the middle of the track. Small children can sit together with an adult. An experienced musher will guide the tour all the time. Once back in the kennel, we invite you to our kota for a small snack. Here you can warm up and learn more about huskies and Parpalandia. We are happy to answer your questions about huskies, their training and daily life.

Amazing experience. Lots of time to spend with the dogs. Sledging area afterwards for the children. Plenty of time, not rushed. Very kind people.

So much fun

This tour is so much fun, I did it with my sister in January 2025, they go over how to drive sled and then you take them through about 7km track and half way through you can switch drivers. When finished you can pet and play with the dogs. Then you have sausages by a fire. We were picked up at our hotel and it was about 40ish min drive out of rovaniemi.

Myself, husband and two children Age 12&7 got picked up dead on time, a quick 45minute journey. There was a lovely family in the minibus which we became friends with. When we got there, we were offered winter suits/shoes but we had already had our own. We were a small group of 12. We were shown what to do then off we went. What an experience!!!! Wow wow wow… it was a good 35minutes with a stop have way to change over from driving the huskies. Afterwards we got to pet them and have photos. We were then showed into a tent with a fire pit. We had the best hot sausages, gluten free or vegetarian sausage ,hot berry juice and cookies. We brought our own marshmallow to toast which was allowed. Then we could go sledging with the other family. We had great fun and were back for 4pm. Wish we could do it again. It was great value and a must. ☺️ thank you.

Simply amazing experience! I high recommend it, if doing a husky ride at lapland is something in your bucket list, then I assure you will not go wrong with this tour! All the staffs there are extremely professional, experiend and friendly! I have some best memories of my life when riding with those cute huskies! Come join it, you won't regret!
