Overview

This airplane flight from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon West offers aerial views of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Mojave Desert, and the Colorado River en route, as well as sights of the West Rim as you approach. Upon landing at the West Rim air terminal, passengers can choose to embark on a thrilling helicopter tour that lands all the way on the bottom of the canyon floor, or they can select admission onto the world-famous Skywalk Bridge and stand quite literally in the middle of the Grand Canyon West atop the bridge's glass floor, This tour includes hotel pick-up and drop-off from select hotels, generally 90 to 120 mins before departure time. Note: Due to high volume, visitors may experience delays in visiting multiple viewpoints during the self-guided tour.

If you choose this option, you can add the Skywalk to your booking and experience walking 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) above the Canyon floor on a glass bottom U-shaped bridge that juts out 70 feet from the Canyon's edge.

We had the most fabulous time on this tour. We were collected from a neighbouring hotel and returned there, which was really convenient. We chose to go by fixed wing plane as I've experienced motion sickness in a helicopter before and we didn't want this to ruin the trip. It was INCREDIBLE!! The views on the flight to the canyon, i. e. Hoover Dam, etc. were amazing and our pilot, Mark Duncan was brilliant. He was super friendly and gave us lots of information during our flight so we really got the best out of the experience. The experience itself was everything we wanted it to be. TOP TIP: The second stop is actually the more beautiful of the two. Very unspoilt. So make sure you don't cut yourself short by staying at the sky wallk too long. You want equal time at the other stop to explore and take in the amazing beauty of the canyon. Would highly recommend these guys. They really were great!!! Thanks for making the end of our holiday absolutely incredible!

Unfortunately, due to high winds our trip into the Canyon was cancelled. However, the staff working for this company did everything they could to accommodate us in visiting the Grand Canyon so the next day we were able to take a small plane with our fabulous pilot Daniel stopping at two parts of the Canyon and stepping out onto the skywalk - what a fabulous experience. This trip was cheaper than the original helicopter and refund was back onto my credit card by the time I returned to the UK. Cannot recommend this company enough - excellent service. Thank you all.

Great trip. All organised, covering the must see activities. Flights had good narration both recorded and by the pilots. My only small issue was all the booking info stated • Baggage Restrictions - Due to limited space, purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft. We, a family of 4, took a tiny bag with a mini suncream, water and cash, phones in pockets. When we got to the plane all other passengers had big backpacks. We had to borrow suncream off people we met at the canyon. Our day would have been easier if I could have taken all Essentials. No point stating people can't take it if they are allowed to.
