After about 1 hour of travel we will arrive in Savoca, a charming Sicilian village famous as the set of "The Godfather". Start at Bar Vitelli, where Michael Corleone proposed to Apollonia, immersed in the atmosphere of the film between photos of the cast and authentic Sicilian coffee. Then head to the Church of San Niccolò, the setting for the wedding in the film. With its majestic baroque architecture and historic frescoes, the church will transport you straight into the scenes of Michael and Apollonia saying their vows. Continue to the Cemetery, where many crucial scenes have been immortalized among ancient gravestones. Then, have lunch at Taverna Rusticana, where Vito Corleone was shot, enjoying authentic Sicilian dishes. Don't miss the panoramic view from the Savoca Terrace, offering a breathtaking look at the surrounding landscape. Finally, conclude your visit with a walk in the historic center, among cobbled streets and period buildings, preserving the identity of this village intact.

In the third part of "The Godfather", Forza d'Agrò was chosen as the location for several crucial scenes. The Church of Sant'Agostino is where Michael Corleone, played by Al Pacino, participates in the confession ceremony. The square in front of the church offers a suggestive backdrop for these sequences. Palazzo Trimarchi, with its baroque charm, becomes a key element during the film. What can I say? Alessandro was amazing! He took very good care of me. Took me to the best spots for pictures and had great knowledge of the godfather movie. He even took me to bar vitali for a cannoli. Best tour I have ever been on. Thank you so much!!

Allessandro gave a very special tour and even showed me clips from the Godfather movie so I can better understand the significance of the points of interest in Savoca. I am so glad I signed up for this tour. I felt like I was a part of his family and I can tell he enjoys and loves his job as well. He has a positive attitude that helped me enjoy the tour even more. Personalized interactive amazing tour!

It was a very wholesome experience....Alessandro even had a clip of the Godfather movie so I can tell what part it was filmed. I was so lucky that the mother of Apolo in the movie was outside and she even sang the movie theme live!!! That made me it so amazing. . the guide was incredible he made me feel like I was a special person. Highly recommended to book a tour with Allessandro!
