In this activity you will get to know the ingredients and the authentic culinary traditions of the area, you will experience firsthand the preparation of fresh pasta and pesto and you can have lunch in a wonderful location surrounded by trees and flowers

Itinerary
Learn how to cook typical genoese fresh pasta and make the most delicious and well known sauce: the pesto!
The whole activity will be carried out in a very beautiful garden
To reach the garden it is necessary to walk 5 minutes uphill and climb the stairs up to the 3rd floor (there is no lift), so the activity is not suitable for people who struggle with Hills and steps. The participants will learn about the ingredients and the traditions: they will make the dough for fresh pasta and learn how to shape it, the technique of making pesto with traditional tools and all tips from a real local.
Once the meal is ready you'll have lunch in the garden

Despite the awful wet weather, Alessandro offered an amazing cooking experience in his own home. Upon arrival he offered us an aperitif and snack (farinata), we then made 2 types of pasta and the most delicious pesto. He then cooked the pasta and were able to enjoy a fabulous lunch! We enjoyed this Italian experience immensely! Grazie Mille!!

Alessandro was a great teacher & his garden was a beautiful atmosphere for the class. Pesto was deliciously flavourful & was very interesting to learn the process for making pasta & even a gluten free option! Definitely recommend ☺️
Pasta and Basil Making in A Garden!!!

We made 3 different kinds of pasta! One was square shaped with Chestnut flour. The second was made into little curly pasta. The third kind of pasta we cut in tiny circles and stamped with an Italian stamp! We made really nice basil pesto! We ate the pesto and pasta with white wine! Alessandro did a great job teaching us! The garden trees are pretty! It was fun!

Such a unique experience and a very traditional feel due to the environment we cooked in!
Disclaimer: There are many many steps you walk up to the location (cooks Italian home) and I recommend wearing closed toed shoes as well as a light jacket or pants (at least in the cooler months)
Everything was provided and very hands on, the cook is a great teacher and very welcoming.
I would recommend any one to give it a try for their first time.

Lovely experience in a nice atmosphere, chilled vibes with a nice vine. Everyone got a chance to make their own pasta and pesto and we all dined together at the end. The teacher was really helpful answering all questions and given us the detailed recipe at the end
