Overview

A visit with an official guide by electric vehicle through the Montes de Málaga Natural Park. A different and fun tour to get to know and enjoy the city. With incredible views. Drive yourself! It includes several stops. One of them is lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy the cuisine. On the way back we return to the city area to enjoy the most emblematic places, including a stop at the Gibralfaro viewpoint, the official viewpoint of the city. 3 hours to have fun exploring the city aboard a Citroen Ami or Renault Twizy in perfect condition and cleanliness that does not harm the environment.

Meeting Point

It is important to be at the boarding gate 10-15 minutes before. The team will be waiting for you with a sign with their name to identify them. We wait 5 minutes of courtesy, if you do not arrive after the hour the tour is considered completed.

What To Expect

1. Puerto de Malaga First minutes to get to know the car and start the experience

2. Barrio De La Merced A neighborhood of traditional origin. The neighborhood of the well-known painter Pablo Ruiz Picasso.

3. A very Malaga neighborhood. With several very important churches in the city. We head up towards the Montes de Malaga Natural Park

4. Montes de Malaga Natural Park. To enjoy a wonderful route in electric cars, with spectacular views of the city from a bird's eye view.

5. Stop at a viewpoint to enjoy views of the city. 15 minutes

6. Stop for lunch at a typical local sale in the area to enjoy the gastronomy of the area. 1 hour

7. Parque de Malaga We return to the city center to visit the most emblematic places.

8. Neighborhood of the Malaga bourgeoisie. A neighborhood with numerous mansions that we will enjoy with the climb to the Gibralfaro viewpoint

9. Castillo de Gibralfaro Stop at the official viewpoint of the city to contemplate the wonderful views. 15 minutes

10. Malaga Cathedral We pass by the side of La Manquita Cathedral of Malaga

11. Museo de Malaga Malaga Museum. Free entry with several current exhibitions.

12. Ayuntamiento de Malaga One of the most important buildings in the city.

13. Centre Pompidou Malaga We passed by the well-known "color cube" Pompidou Museum.

14. Muelle Uno Shopping center where you find shops and bars.

15. Puerto de Malaga The end of the tour ends where we started the tour.

Fun driving in a city without fear of getting lost

I had an enjoyable Saturday touring the city with them. Driving an electric car while seeing the sites was the best. We stop at various sites and I learned their history. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to take a tour.

Definitely worth a 5 stars review. Of all the activities I done in different cities in Spain i would say that touring a place in the electric car is the best way. Our guides Alex and Gema are very friendly and took care of us well. Gema contacted us few days earlier to confirm the timing and pick up location, making sure all details are good. Alex explained carefully how to operate the electric car (which is easy to drive!) and always checked that we were ok. I felt safe following the tour guide car in front and it was extremely fun and exciting to explore the city and the Montes natural park in this way. The tablet and audio guide in the car is seamless and automatically guide you with GPS and also give an audio explanation of the surroundings while you drive. Got a great awesome view of the city on top of the hill. Lunch was great as we sat beside the window and enjoyed the scenery as well. Although weather was hot during the time i visited, it was windy, and hence still acceptable during this time of the year in June. definitely did not regret choosing this over cycling (going up the hill is crazy exercise). Last but not least our guides helped us took nice photos and even sent it to us. There is also a great phone app to use after the tour to continue in Malaga as well! Definitely recommended!
