Overview
Enjoy a Speedboat trip from Blue Bay to Ile aux Cerfs and discover the 5 islands on the East Coast of Mauritius.
Sea lovers will enjoy this trip to the marine park. You will stop in the middle of the marine park and get to snorkel and discover the magical world of the reefs.
Then, visit the shipwreck of the Dalbair. Next, stop at Ile aux Aigrettes to enjoy a cocktail in a natural swimming pool.
Afterward, Cruise to Ile aux Phare to see the lighthouse or simply take a stroll around. Next, pass by Ile de la Passe where you will be able to view the ruins of old buildings, and the prison.
Then, visit the GRSE waterfall, where the sea and the river meet.
Then, go to Ilot Margenie for a delicious barbecue lunch, prepared and served right on the beach. You'll cruise to Ile aux Flammant to admire the great views.

Blue Bay (Pass By)
Your full-day excursion to Ile Aux Cerf from Blue Bay begin with a complimentary hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Blue Bay, a village located the East of Mauritius

Blue Bay Marine Park
You'll head to Blue-Bay Marine park for snorkeling. Sea lovers will enjoy this trip to the marine park. Sit in your boat and depart for the reefs while feeling the cool day breeze brushing against your skin. Take in the beauty of the surroundings while gazing at the underwater world while snorkeling. You will then stop in the middle of the marine park and get to snorkel and discover the magical world of the reefs.
At an average depth of 5.5 meters, with crystal clear water offering great visibility, the snorkeling conditions are ideal. You will have a great view of the reef, fish, and a large selection of corals (there are more than 50 different species of corals at the park!).
The Blue Bay Marine Park is home to mangroves, algae, sea grasses, corals, and other marine organisms. There is also a wide variety of fish species that include Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Butterfly fish, juvenile Sailfin tangs, as well as tiny Pipefish and large Trumpet fish.

Our first stop will be at the shipwreck of Alblair on the coral reef of Pointe d'Esny.
Here since 1902 it has a controversial history that you will discover during our trip! The story of the Dalblair is another unfortunate shipwreck that occurred in 1902.

Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve
Following the visit to the shipwreck, you'll head to Ile Aux Aigrette Island, where you will enjoy a cocktail and have the chance to swim in the crystal clear lagoon of Ile Aux Aigrettes. You will enjoy a natural swimming pool with plenty of starfishes.

Afterwards we will bring you to visit the lighthouse Island – Ile aux Phare, where you will have time to visit the ancient lighthouse ruin or time to walk around the island.
L'Île aux Fouquets also known as L’île aux Phare (Phare Island) is a small rocky island of the Grand Port Bay. The Island was significant during the Battle of Grand Port, between the French and the British. Its lighthouse, which was built in 1864 to guide ships to the port of Mahebourg, has defied centuries and still stands with all its majesty.

Ile de la Passe is a small but very significant islet off the southeast coast of Mauritius. During the colonial era, the islet was a key factor in the defense of Mauritius where the French and British inhabitants built defenses on Ile de la Passe. Today the ruins of these defences, dating back two and a half centuries, are still present.
An ideal site for a fascinating day trip, Ile de la Passe offers stunning views of the mainland and the turquoise sea as well as historic ruins of the defenses which will give you an insight on the battles that took place there, including the legendary Battle of Vieux Grand Port which is commemorated by an inscription on the Arc De Triomphe in Paris.
You can spend a pleasant day walking through the ruins of the ancient French defense and awing at them.

Grand River South East Waterfalls
As part of your cruise, you will also get to visit the Grand River South-East Waterfalls. The GRSE waterfall is an exceptional place where land and sea merge. The speed boat will sail along the waterfalls’ canal for a beautiful view of the Grand River South East Waterfalls. The wild flora surrounding the fabulous waterfall is amazing and is colonized with monkeys jumping and playing on the trees just beside the waterfalls as they are used to human presence.
If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall.

Ile Aux Cerfs
The main highlight of this high-speed cruise is a visit to the famed Ile aux Cerfs island. As you approach the Ile aux Cerfs Island by speed boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters. There, you will have free time to spend on the beach, go for a stroll, swim in the lagoon, snorkel, relax on the beach and enjoy one of the water sports activities offered on the island (at an additional cost).

At around Noon, you will get to enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch. The lunch menu usually consists of Chicken BBQ and Fish BBQ along with other sides and salads including garlic bread. In case you are a vegetarian, please inform us in advance and we will be glad to arrange a BBQ veg lunch for you to enjoy. During lunch, you will be able to enjoy a complimentary selection of drinks including both non-alcoholic drinks and alcoholic drinks.
While having your lunch, you will enjoy the traditional sega dance, live music, and entertainment. There will be an open bar where you can enjoy a wide selection of unlimited drinks. The crew will prepare the famous banane flambe desert for you.

Towards the end of the afternoon, it's time for a thrilling coastal cruise back to the mainland. The whole trip is done in a warm and friendly Mauritian atmosphere! Donovan was an exceptional tour guide. He organized this wonderful tour concisely.
Very specific itinerary, he explained what to expect of the day and navigated us around seamlessly that made for a great experience.
He was a wealth of knowledge, tips and more.
Friendly and accommodating. We felt like we were hanging-out with an old-time friend.
The only downside was the taxi driver that did our pick-up and drop-off, he said his name was Yas. He was driving carelessly, blasted a radio station that was on another language and kept the aircon off on a sweltering heat.
Fun at sea

Great fun! It was like a rollercoaster on sea. We had a great time exploring different little islands and their beautiful landscape with all different shades of blue and turquoise.
The team was incredible at making the experience relaxed and enjoyable. There was no lack of drinks or food, and the BBQ lunch on the beach was special as it made us feel like part of the family!
Truly recommend this trip!

If you're looking for a daily adventure that combines the joy of exploration with the opportunity to relax in crystal-clear waters, then this excursion is for you. The morning transfer picked us up on time (we even arrived at the boat quite early). After observing the GRSE Waterfall up close and feeding the curious monkeys nearby, we were taken to visit the lighthouse island and then went snorkelling at the Blue-Bay Marine Park. Before heading to Ile aux Cerfs, a delicious lunch with plenty of options was served onboard. Later, we relaxed in the calm, shallow waters near Ile aux Aigrettes. Our 10/10 for this day is thanks to the crew's perfect organization of the itinerary; they were really friendly with everyone on board and even entertained us pleasantly with a varied musical repertoire. A special thanks goes to Mevin, the driver who took us to the boat and brought us back to our accommodation. He answered all our questions about local customs and traditions (even early in the morning!) and made sure our day started and ended in the best possible way. Thank you, Mevin!
Tanning day / fun in the sun

U need to carry sunblock. N wear sun factor clothes. Cause there is a possibility u will be sitting in the sun all day. Carry snacks with you. So you are not starving. Food is just 1 piece chicken. Toasted bread & 1 piece fish. 1piece pineapple. They give u 1 cooked banana. N nothing extra to eat. If you ask for food nothing more is given. So make sure u eat early before u do this tour or u will be starving. Guide Nelson is very friendly and accommodating. However ask him to not leave u standing in the sun, when u go to the lighthouse location. If u go up to see it. Make sure u take an umbrella. Weather is often unpredictable because even if ur boat is anchored u still drift away. N the back ladder moves. So u r not able to climb into the boat on ur own.. If u r a big lady it's very difficult to climb back in. Take ur husband with u.. It's way better than doing a catamaran. U see so much more. Value for money as a tourist. Looking for a compact Day filled with excellent visuals. Dolphins where the highlight for me. The waterfall n monkey feeding was fab also. I was so disappointed with not getting seafood or not being able to pay for seafood when at the lunch place. This is where viator failed us with the food.

Every thing was super - private taxi pickup from RIU palace where we were staying and transfer to dock went smoothly- captain of the speedboat was funny and informative, took great care of us and all the stops for swimming and snorkeling were perfectly timed
