Full Day Charters on Maxed Out are all private and custom trips, providing completely unique experiences for our guests. Snorkel the reefs, visit beautiful beaches, our captains will show you the best day of your vacation.

Itinerary

Start your day snorkeling one of the many beautiful reefs around St John or St Thomas, see sea turtles, sea rays, and various coral. Then visit one of the many beautiful beaches around both islands, like Magen’s Bay Beach or check out one of the many bays on St John, like Peter Bay, Waterlemon Cay, Maho Bay or Leinster. For lunch we can take you to one of the many great lunch spots on the water, including Pizza Pi , Lime Out VI, or the new Beach Club at Lovango Resort. You can also check out restaurants in Cruz Bay or downtown Charlotte Amalie.

Best Day Ever!!

Quite possibly the best day ever. From start to finish, Sonic Charters delivered an absolutely unforgettable experience. We booked the full day island hopping tour on their 37’ Intrepid, and it exceeded every expectation we had. The boat itself was immaculate—sleek, spacious, and clearly well-maintained. Comfortable seating, powerful engines, and a sound system that made the perfect soundtrack for cruising the Caribbean. Our captain, Pat, was knowledgeable, laid-back, and totally dialed in to what kind of vibe we were looking for—whether it was secluded beaches, snorkeling in crystal-clear water, or grabbing a drink at a floating bar, he had the perfect spot in mind. We explored several stunning islands throughout the day, each one more beautiful than the last. The water was every shade of blue you can imagine, and every stop felt like our own private paradise. The ability to customize the day made it feel super personal—nothing rushed, just pure freedom and fun. If you're in St. Thomas or St. John and looking for the ultimate day on the water, do yourself a favor and book with Sonic Charters. It was a day we’ll never forget, and honestly, we’re already dreaming of coming back.

Sonic’s Captain Gus is the GOAT

We had a great day with Captain Gus. After two days of having other boats take us to the BVIs, we asked Gus to spend the day showing us the top spots of St. John - and it was everyone’s favorite day of the week. Beautiful beaches, awesome snorkel spots, lots of information about the island, the best lunch at Lime Out, and just an all around awesome day. Highly recommend!

Gus was awesome! He made great recommendations, showed us some really cool places, took us to the best snorkel spots, and was super knowledgeable. We had some tough winds and he handled that boat with ease and made us extremely comfortable. We had the best time!!

Excellent time! We were picked up in St John and went over to the BVI and had a blast. Very solid boat in great condition. Our captain Patrick was a great guy and wonderful to hang out with for the day! Highly recommend this company for crewed charters for anywhere in USVI or BVI.
