A fantastic day of gardens

What a fantastic day tour! I am so glad we chose this tour and had Youssef as our driver/guide. We learned so much more about Marrakesh, its history, present and how it’s developing as an international city. The gardens we visited were varied and different and Youssef explained their significance in great detail. He was so knowledgeable. Before our first garden, Menara garden near the airport, Youssef drove us through the medina to explain the history. His driving was superb! The Amina garden was fabulous and we wouldn’t have been able to get there ourselves. This was a great tour to see different parts of Marrakesh and explore gardens, new and old. Highly recommend both the tour and Youssef as a guide.

Easy way to see 4 fabulous gardens

My husband and I did the Marrakesh Gardens tour in January. We loved it. It was great to go to 4 very different gardens in one day. Anima is worth the tour on it’s own; it is a fabulous garden. Noor our guide was great, very chatty and friendly. We had good communication about where to meet up etc so there was no confusion. Please note that you still need to queue to buy the Jardin Majorelle tickets. I would recommend getting the YSL combination ticket as the queue is much shorter however the tour only covers the cost of the garden alone. But if you love gardens then this is the tour for you.

This was a great tour. Our driver Yunas was a really nice guy and went out of his way to accommodate us. First stop was the Anima garden, which was the highlight of the day. This is a wonderful garden with lots of colours and quirky art. We thoroughly enjoyed this garden. It is definitely worth the 40 min drive from the centre. The Majorelle garden is apparently the number one attraction in Marrakesh and this is a beautiful garden with the striking cobalt blue colours, but very busy. We also visited the secret garden, which is a really nice oasis in the busy city and the Menara gardens outside the city walls. Overall a great tour, which I would really recommend.
