Overview

・Spectacular kayaking on the Mekong and the Nam Ou rivers. You will find the diverse nature and landscapes of Luang Prabang ・Pak Ou Caves is located on the riverbank about 25km from Luang Prabang. The cave is very beautiful and filled with thousands of Buddha images and has long served as a pilgrimage site for all kinds of people, including members of the former royal family. ・Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the restaurant overlooking the Mekong river. ・The Kuang Si Falls is a three levelled waterfalls that begin in shallow pools atop a steep hillside and lead to the main fall with a 60 metres (200 ft) drop. This large cascade falls might just be the ultimate highlight of any trip to Laos. ・The tour date is reschedulable until 7 pm day before. Unmissable tour

Our tour guide Von (i think) was amazing! He was so charismatic and made us feel very safe while kayaking. He was super friendly and made an effort to remember our names which never happens! The kayaking was the perfect length of time, nothing felt rushed or dragged out and it was beginner friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the caves and was happy to answer any questions. Lunch was so amazing, the buffet was fresh and had many options, drinks were included. We were given cold bottles of water multiple times throughout the day which was so lovely. The waterfalls were so beautiful, Von helped us through all the way to the entrance and made sure we knew exactly where to go and even gave us tips on areas to avoid. Overall was so pleased, it’s a little more money than other tours available but beyond worth it and includes pretty much everything - no hidden charges.

The full day trip was amazing. Everything was perfect and we had wonderful landscapes and great experiences like visiting an elephant camp and a rice whiskey production. Mr Thin was very kind and funny during the whole day. I really recommand Manifa travel if you want to discover Luang Prabang.

Mr Thin is excellent! Extremely nice and attentive, he’s very interested in the groups different cultures. He speaks amazing English and even more languages, he knows a lot and loves to give you all the knowledge he has in Laos culture and Mai points. Very complete tour as well! You even get to see elephants at lunch with us amazing.

My favorite tour - we used Manifa tour in 2 of our activities in Laos. Ou tour guide, Poang, was exceptional from guiding us in merging rivers of Mekong River and Nan Ao River. Climbing the steps to cave temples were worth it, and swimming the Kuang Si Waterfalls was refreshing! The elephants were available during our lunch break too. It’s high activity day!

Breathtaking views of the Nam Ou and Mekong rivers as we kayaked with our small group. After a delicious buffet lunch and some time with the elephants, we truly enjoyed the beauty and coolness of the Kwang Si Waterfalls. Though a long day, very worth the time! Our guide, POAng, was knowledgeable, patient, and provided a professional and pleasurable experience throughout. He clearly enjoys his work and takes pride in his beautiful and inviting country. Highly recommended tour!
