Fatahillah Museum is also known as The Jakarta History Museum. Originally built by Dutch in 1710 used for Jakarta City Hall or “Staad Huis” furnished with antique furnishing, porcelains, old map and portraits, underwater jail and other items used by former Dutch Governor-General. Fatahillah Museum is one of the popular museums which is often visited by tourist who want to know about Dutch Colonialism in Indonesia.

An excellent day tour of Jakarta.

We were collected at the port and had a excellent day touring the major landmarks of Jakarta city.
Our guide Sheria was excellent at showing us around and explaining the history behind each sites on the tour.
The lunch was very good .
Our driver Mr Ikhsan was very good negotiating the traffic in the city and return us safely back to the port.
