Overview

Experience Arctic Ice Fishing on this scenic 4 hour trip to Lake Inari. Local experienced guide, unique scenery and Lunch by open fire in warm lappish teepee will make your day memoriable. You will get warm thermal clothes and shoes in our office in Ivalo. From there we continue to a small village called Koppelo. Snowmobiles and sledges are waiting for you there, the journey starts to a secret fishing place. You can enjoy unique landscape while you travel in the comfort of a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile. Experienced guide will give you instructions for Ice Fishing. You will receive your own fishing rod and you can start fishing in a true Lappish style. You will use either a worm or a maggot to catch the fish. After fishing we will drive to a small island. We have there two friendly reindeers you can meet and feed. Lunch and hot drinks will be served in a warm lappish teepee with open fire. This is a great trip even if you are not so interested in fishing!

Ice fishing experience on a giant frozen lake

We had a great experience with Tina, Tappio and Maksim who all took good care of us throughout the tour. Warm clothing was provided at their offices, picks ups and drop offs were seamless, and the ice fishing on the frozen lake and lunch experience in a traditional Finnish tent with reindeer feeding was also fantastic. We will never forget the time on the Arctic Circle, totally calm and unique.

Great experience with Tapio, our guide. He explained how to fish and gave us information about history and geography regarding the wonderful scenario around. We enjoyed a very traditional lunch in a typical teepee, having also the opportunity to see and feed the reindeers in the farm.

Great Trip to the lake

it was a really great trip on the lake. the fishing was fun even though we didn't catch anything. The silence on the lake unbelievable. Luckily the clothes were very warm and the -18 degrees weren't a problem. Afterwards we had lunch at the camp fire in the tipi tent. You could warm up with warm berry juice and delicious food. the soup was really tasty. We would definitely do the tour again

An amazing experience. Running with snowmobile on the Inari Frozen Lake in a total safe condition is wonderful. Incredible landscapes. The fishing experience beautiful and the lunch in a Sami Tent warm and delicious. All the organization with hotel pick up, warm clothes, info given by the guide was perfect. I truly appreciated every single minute of the experience. I truly suggest everyone to try it!!

Excellent company to go fishing in the ice

Going with a small group of people was excellent, the company is a very nice local familiar, the food was quite good and the fisherman was very kind with us. We strongly recommend this company. We were not lucky fishing, however. Anyway, we would love to go back!
