When visiting Florence, don’t miss a day trip to the scenic, gourmet paradise of the Tuscan countryside.     Your driver and guide will pick you up in a comfortable, air-conditioned transport in central Florence and drive you through the hills of Tuscany. You'll pass the best panoramic viewpoint of Florence and pause for pictures.

    Siena is one of the best-preserved examples of medieval Italian architecture in the world. Spared German bombing in WWII, this time capsule of ancient, precarious-looking buildings is home to the Palio, one of the greatest and most dangerous horse races in the world.

  • This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
  • Those with dietary restrictions need to contact us after booking the tour so we can arrange your lunch. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate vegans or those with celiacs.
  • Tickets for the Siena Cathedral are not included in the tour price. If you wish to visit the Cathedral, your guide will assist you. The Cathedral is closed on Sundays and for certain holy days.
  • In order to get into the city center, we utilize small luxury minivans. This allows us to avoid the parking lots outside of the center requiring us to walk. Your guide may need to split time between vehicles on groups larger than 8.

Great tour

Best tour so far. Our tour guide was phenomenal. Could have used another free half an hr both at Siena and San Gimignono. Lunch and wine tour was exceptional.

Good day tour

We started with a photo stop at Piazzale Michelangelo (we've already gone the day before without knowing this is part of the tour's itinerary), then headed to Siena and had a walking tour with our guide (Agnes?). Poggio Amorelli, the winery we visited, was great, and so was lunch - we had charcuterie, choice of a pasta, and cantuccini (all with wine pairing). The last stop was San Gimignano (this was a lovely town) - had a brief walking tour with our guide and just had around 20 mins to walk around by ourselves. There was a group of 6 of us and another group of 5 split into two minivans, and the guide hopped in and out of each minivan at different stops. Didn't bother us as we had the commentary/walking tours at each destination with the guide. Overall a good day tour.

Beautiful scenery. The wine tasting event was fun, even for a person who is not much of a wine drinker (like me). Our guide was friendly and helpful, and the winery people we met were friendly and informative. The lunch was delicious too!

Siena and San Gimignano were beautiful towns. The winery was good and we enjoyed seeing the freshly picked grapes turned into wine as the grapes had just been harvested.

Great way to see the highlights of Sienna and San Gimignano in a comfortable way. Our Siena visit was unfortunately disrupted by some torrential rain, but that is the luck of the draw! The winery visit and lunch were great.
