Experience an exciting night time tour with stargazing, delicious dessert at a local restaurant and a fully guided rainforest walk to the waterfall. This is a great tour for you to discover the bio-network of a rainforest and to experience nocturnal wildlife spotting.

    Explore Tamborine at night in Gold Coast's only evening Rainforest, Waterfall and Glowworm Tour.

  • Curtis Falls

    Experience a guided walk to the waterfall. Whilst at the waterfall you can see the glow worms along the rock face.

    Our expert local guide will escort you on a rainforest walk to the waterfall. Each guest receives a torch to light the parth. Learn about plants and animals along the way to the Glow Worms.

    Enjoy a warm drink and your choice of freshly baked cakes at our mountain top restaurant. (Please note the shops along Gallery Walk are closed during our visit.)

  • Southern Cross Tours may alter or cancel any section of the itinerary which may result from road closures, weather, suppliers or any other condition of an operational nature.
  • Alternate vehicles may be used in the event that a Southern Cross vehicle is unavailable.

Like stars on a cliff face!

Tanya was an amazing host. We were fortunate to share the experience with a great, multicultural group from all over the world. The glow worms were like looking at stars on a cliff face. Highly recommended!

Great time on this tour!!

We had such a good time on this tour! Daniel knew what he was talking about and kept us entertained during the tour. He was great at seeing all the little creatures that no one else could see. We spotted glowing mushrooms, a gecko and some other bugs. The glow worms at night were so pretty with the waterfall. Such a good experience!

Amazing, but should be a child free tour option.

Excellent tour. Easy to find the bus and prompt pick up. We beat the rain which was nice, and the mystery cake at the inn was lemon, very yummy. We then drove up to the start of the rainforest walk. A family decided to take their own car, and despite leaving the inn before the shuttle, they made us wait 25 minutes for them. I thought this was extremely rude and clearly stressed out our tour guide as the family was not answering their phone. Ridiculous. We were given red torches which helped to illuminate the wet foot path deep into the rainforest. The tour guide pointed out many bugs and frogs while we walked as well as interesting plants and trees. When we got to the end of the trail, we were instructed to have 5 minutes of silence and no phones/ flashlights so we could hear/ see the rainforest and glow worms better. The family’s children as well as other young children on the tour continued to go on their phones with full brightness and use flashlights. I don’t believe these tours should have children if they cannot follow basic instructions, and the tour guide said nothing, so was difficult to see the worms. All in all a very cool experience, but would enjoy it better if an adults only option was available.

The rain forest and glow worm tour with a total of 8 persons was really worth it!

He gave informative introduction on the history of the GC city After arrival, he led us into the jungle, shows us glowworm and other creatures such as gekko, frog, cricketand explains their behaviors. After the tour, we went to local guesthouse to see the stars and had a tasteful evening tea. Very impressive event.
