(It is closed at 4:30 pm) First, our tour guides'll pick you up at your hotel address. Then, we head to Ancient House. Situated at a tranquil street near Silver Street, Ancient House appeals plenty of tourists by its ancient but sophisticated charm of a Vietnamese traditional house.

Then, we will stop by Hoan Kiem Lake, considered the heart of Hanoi. You can observe many locals interesting activities such as playing badminton, doing exercises, etc.

(Held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday) Then, we'll move to night market. A busy, bustling gathering of roadside stalls and local food vendors that brings huge crowds of locals and tourists. It runs from 19:00 onwards, starting from Hang Dao Street and running north to the edge of Dong Xuan Market

(Optional) Thang Long Water Puppet is the next site we will visit. Traditional legends and historical tales are among the enchanting puppet plays performed at this popular theatre. Open Hours: 3pm-8pm (daily) Price: 100,000 - 200,000 (depend on your seat)

(Optional) Phung Hung art street is the final site we'll visit. It has been revived with beautiful mural paintings recalling Hanoi in the past. Now, it is a favorite photo place and cultural space for city dwellers and travelers to Hanoi.

Amazing walking tour with Anna lots of interesting stops and we had a great lunch as well. We were joined by some others as well which was fine as guides were in short supply on the last day of holidays.
Fab guided tour and foodie experience from a Hanoi student

What a great initiative. Students get to practice their English and us hapless tourists get a bespoke tour tailored to our needs. Our lovely and very patient Cubby spent all day with is taking us to the main sights and introducing us to Vietnamese dishes. You may not get the slick tour of the professional guides who do this every day. But you get to learn a lot about Vietnam today as well as having someone explain Vietnamese culture and its traditions etc. A real treat. Only cautionary note is check the opening times of where you want to see and have a plan as to what you want to see. Many places close for lunch so you need to factor that in to your meeting time.
Night Tour in Hanoi with Son

Son was our tour guide for the night out in Hanoi. He was exceptional. He said that he was working on his English but we found it to be very comprehensive. It was a great mix of education about the city’s history and the current culture with a mix of historical places we visited and best places to eat, shop and enjoy the city of Hanoi. I would definitely recommend this experience while in Hanoi.
