Overview

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a private wildlife reserve that has so many wonderful features you won’t want to leave! Just a few hours from Nairobi you can find all the big five – lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard and rhino. But what makes Ol Pejeta even more exciting is this reserve features the highest density of predators in Kenya. You’ll have a very good chance of seeing lion, cheetah, hyena and the rare African wild dog. And a guarantee you’ll see rhinos and chimpanzees in the famous animal sanctuaries hosted in this 365 sq.km (141 sq.mi) reserve. Formerly a cattle ranch, Ol Pejeta now serves as a protected space for many species including rare black and white rhinos and rescued chimpanzees. You’ll also find a long list of not-so-common African wildlife like the aardvark and bat-eared fox in this amazing park.
