Overview

Ellora complex is known for Kailash temple. It is multi-storey temple complex and it was carved out of one single rock. This is the largest monolithic temple in the world and we being a local guided tour agency, works in sustainable tourism provides local experienced and knowledgeable guide. This will make your tour informative and memorable. Daulatabad fort is known for its defensive architecture. It was built in 12th century AD by Bhillama Yadava dynasty. Bibi ka maqbara is Taj of Deccan. It is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. It is a repulica of Taj mahal in Agra.     Ellora is 30km away from Aurangabad and it will take a hour to reach the place. Driver will drop off at Ellora caves.

  • Ellora Caves

    After reaching the caves, you will explore magnificent Ellora with licensed guide. There are three types of caves dedicated to Hinduism, Buddism and Jainism. The Ellora caves are an impressive complex built between the 6th and 10th century AD near the ancient Indian village of Ellora. These caves have slightly less dramatic setting than those at Ajanta, but they have more exquisite sculptures. It also got carvings about the important mythological stories of Hinduism, which are Ramayana and Mahabharata. Ellora is a world heritage and the most visited ancient monument in Maharashtra. It takes around 3 to 4 hours to visit the caves.

    Daulatabad fort used to be a capital of India in 13th century but the Tughluq felt it was a bad decision to change the capital, so he is called as mad king. This fort consist of adventurous dark passage, Chand minar which are the highlights of this place.

    After having lunch on the way (on your own cost), will take you to the most emblematic monuments of the Mughal capital from 17th century. This monument was built in the name of love. Drop off at the hotel

Friendly organizer,well managed trips,best experience in India

I have been to India 4 times and I found Akvin Tourism as my best travel buddy. They have always organised my stay, food, transportation to offbeat destinations. I couldn’t have seen real India without Akvin. Recently, I was in Aurangabad for March 2024. I had a pleasant time visiting the places around. Akvin tourism organized my stay and taxi. Thanks to Akvin tourism we spent splendid and interesting day in Ellora Caves with enthusiastic local guide and careful driver. We visited Amrut Tirth or Ahilyabai Holkar Talav (Hindu temple nearby) as well, humble Aurangzeb's tomb in Khuldabad and a large Daulatabad Fort. 100% recommendation!
