    Long before the towering mega-resorts, Cirque shows, and 24/7 nightlife and entertainment of the Strip came to define Las Vegas forever, there was Fremont Street. Situated north of the Las Vegas Strip in Downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street was the city’s actual birthplace, famous for block after block of the city’s most iconic neon signs and marquees adorning some of Las Vegas’ first casinos, like Binion’s Horseshoe, the Golden Nugget, the Pioneer Club, and many more.

    Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, formerly Binion's Horseshoe, is a casino on Fremont Street along the Fremont Street Experience mall in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It is owned by TLC Casino Enterprises. The casino is named for its founder, Benny Binion, whose family ran it from its founding in 1951 until 2004.

A lovely time!

It's always fun to try local places to eat. The variety was great. Laurinda was an excellent guide. You could tell that she was excited to share her knowledge of the area. And the other group of mates that were with us were so much fun!

One of the Best things of our trip to Vegas. The guide was knowledgeable, interesting and kept on pace with sharing information about our surroundings. The food stops were varied and great. Enjoyed every bit of it.

The tour was great. Took us to some great food places. I feel like it was a nice amount of food! Learning some of the history of downtown Vegas was fun too. Our guide was great!

We had a great food tour in downtown Las Vegas today with our great guide, Amber. We learned a lot about Las Vegas (and Fremont Street) history and stopped at 5 delicious locations for a variety of tastings including street tacos, Thai food, Pizza Rock pizza (LOVE LOVE), Eat Restaurant deviled eggs and Lapperts ice cream. The portions were generous and the pace enjoyable. We also enjoyed the company of the others we met on the tour. I highly recommend the tour.
