Overview

Seafaris was the first company in the Algarve to search for Dolphins in their natural habitat and our specialist team has over 25 years’ experience providing unforgettable day trips along the stunning coastline of Southern Portugal. Feel the thrill of the wind in your face as we glide across the glistening Atlantic Ocean in search of beautiful bottlenose and common dolphins or even other different spieces of Wild life, before we gently settle amongst the pods to watch them dance and play in their natural habitat. Our fully-certified skippers have an excellent knowledge of dolphin activity in the area, with sightings in over 95% of trips. Tours last approximately 90 minutes, and run throughout each day from Lagos. We recommend guests arrive at least 15 minutes before their departure time, and bring with them sun protection, water, a warmer jacket (when colder) and, of course, their camera!

Excellent dolphin viewing tour

Really friendly staff, informative, attentive. Managed to see some dolphins really close up. We did get wet with the splashes but they had given us jackets

Awesome experience, wonderful people

We did one dolphin tour in the afternoon without luck so the wonderful lady ( I think Sofia was her name) rescheduled us again for early next morning. Sam and Bruno took us out and success! We saw a group of dolphins and could observe them a long time. We got many explanations about their behavior and how to protect them. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Amazing Experience!

We booked this trip while staying in Luz. We were a family of 9 with ages ranging from 12-64 and booked the trip for 12.30pm 12/9/24 as to go to see the Dolphin's was on my "must do" list. We had an absolutely amazing time and saw both Dolphins and Porpoises. The crew were both so professional, informative and fun and made sure that we had a truly memorable experience. Which we did 100% so thank you crew :)) We all loved it and will remember it for many years to come. We hope to be back in 2026 to relive the experience. Very highly recommended :)).

Beautiful, fun, magical nature

It was a beautiful trip and we were so lucky to get up close with a humpback whale, hammer head shark and some dolphins. We would highly recommend it and definitely come back the next time we are in Lagos

Two groups of common dolphins

We had the chance to see two groups of about 15 to 20 common dolpins and approach them from a distance. I particularly liked that we respected them, stayed at a distance and let them come close to the boat. The marine biologist and the staff provided information about their behaviors, which was very interesting. I was very happy to get to see these beautiful animals in their environment. Thank you to the whole team!
