Overview

Departing daily from Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, we set out at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm on a 2.5-hour excursion along the island’s southwest coast, where we search for dolphins and other cetaceans in their natural habitat. Our vessel, Spirit of the Sea, accommodates 97 guests and has a large glass bottom, offering a rare chance to observe the underwater world from the comfort of the boat. Our mission is to provide a respectful and ethical wildlife-watching experience. Holding all the necessary permits from the Canary Islands Government, we’re dedicated to operating in a way that puts the well-being of the animals first, ensuring that all sightings are conducted responsibly. Seeing dolphins, and sometimes even whales, in their natural setting creates a powerful and memorable experience. Discover the incredible world of dolphins and cetaceans off the coast of Gran Canaria! The Canary Islands are home to around 30 species of cetaceans, including dolphins, whales, orcas, and porpoises, making it one of the most biodiverse areas in Europe for marine life sightings. These fascinating animals breathe air, are warm-blooded, and care for their young like us, making each sighting a special experience. Departing twice daily from Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, our excursions leave at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm for a 2.5-hour journey along the scenic southwest coast. Our vessel, Spirit of the Sea, offers a one-of-a-kind experience with its spacious glass bottom, allowing you to view the vibrant marine life beneath the surface. Our friendly, multilingual crew provides insight into each species spotted and ensures a memorable experience for all passengers. Although dolphin sightings are common, if we don’t see any dolphins, we’ll give you a free pass to come back and try again on another day.

Unbelievable trip. Wonderful value for money. We've done this trip a couple of times now, and it hasn't disappointed! Last time we saw hoardes of dolphins this time we saw dolphins, pilot whales and a turtle. The staff on board are brilliant. Really good fun, really friendly. Brilliant trip, cannot recommend it highly enough!

Went Dolphin searching and saw one big turtle. Then saw a pod of about 500 Atlantic Dolphins up close and personal.. Loved it.
