Overview

In a single morning you will have the opportunity to sail along the 30 km. of coast that characterize the entire Marine Protected Area, from Porto Cesareo to Punta Prosciutto. Stops scheduled during the excursion: - Torre Castiglione and Punta Prosciutto: swim break in what is considered one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in Puglia. - Torre Castiglione: second swim stop in a Caribbean body of water with optional snorkeling. - Chianca Island and Greek-Roman Columns: in this section of navigation it will be possible to admire from the boat one of the oldest submerged archaeological sites in Italy. - Isola dei Conigli: last stop during which it will be possible to take a short walk to observe the vegetation and the numerous coves that draw this little paradise. Included in the price: an environmental guide who will give detailed information along the entire itinerary, snorkeling masks, cool drinks and savory aperitif.

The basic language of the tour was Italian, but the staff explained the history in English for me, the only foreign participant. I feel lucky to have been on the tour as "Low season" and it's more memorable because of the great staff and participants. I recommend it.

Fascinating and fast

Really fun trip - loved the fast speed as we were travelling up the coast. Really fascinating and varied and the water was beautiful to swim in. Seeing the Roman columns underneath us was stunning. Would definitely recommend.

Boat tour

Three hour trip along the coast, stopping to swim and visit rabbit island. Very professional outfit and would definitely recommend. Only runs on certain days so check in advance

Excellent tours

During our stay in Porto Cesareo four of us have gone on 2 trips organised by Vie del Mediterraneo. The first was to Alberobello and Ostuni yesterday and today we went on a boat trip to Punta Prosciutto and other places of interest. We loved both trips very much. They were both well organised and we were accompanied on both by well informed and friendly guides. The boat trip even included aperitif which we enjoyed on nearby Isola dei Conigli. Everyone we came in contact with - in the office, the bus driver and the guys on the boat - were all friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this company.

Great afternoon on the water

Very enjoyable trip. After suffering a tyre puncture on the way to the trip on a previous day, the company kindly let us switch the date of our trip. The staff were great, and the trip itself very enjoyable with some beautiful spots for snorkelling. Would highly recommend.
