    7:00 – 7:30 Get picked up in your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or our office – No. 106 Tran Nhat Duat, then travel via the 5B expressway to Hai Phong, stopping briefly at V52 in Gia Loc. In Hai Phong, take the sea-crossing road from Tan Vu to Lach Huyen port, enjoying scenic views of Dinh Vu port. Travel to Cai Vieng from Got port by ferry.

    10:15 – 10:30 Reach "CAT BA PEARL ISLAND." Drive on a scenic road between the sea and the green mountains of Cat Ba National Park.

(We highly recommend that you wear a life jacket when swimming/ kayaking/playing with water slide…for a safe journey) 15:40 : The boat begins its journey back to Beo Pier. It is perfect time to relax yourself on the top deck with a cup of ordered drink. 16:15: Small sunset party is served with fresh fruit, biscuits & tea.

Beats the crowds and offers so much in one day

A great day trip from Hanoi. Our guide Billy was very engaging and took every opportunity to make sure everyone on board had a great time and was able to experience so many things that Lan Ha bay had to offer. So many things included in one day, with the cycling of Cat Ba island and the swimming both as highlights for us. Facilities on board the boat were great and staff even provided us with fresh towels after swimming activities. Food was great too. Another plus was no crowds, we hardly saw any other cruises and ran into only one other tour group whilst on our trip. So peaceful and a gem of a day!!

An amazing alternative option to Ha Long Bay cruising, Lan Ha Bay is just as beautiful!!

Serenity Cruises did a premium job in executing the perfect cruise tour around Lan Ha Bay. The tour guide with us was very helpful and accommodating to the group. He ensured we took enough photos at each stop and informed us on all the relevant details that we needed to know plus encouraged us to try the local activities. The cruise boat itself was very very clean and modern and food/drinks on board was without a fault. All staff were attentive and provided top tier services. 100% would recommend them again to friends and family that are looking to explore and travel Cat Ba Island via Lan Ha Bay.

Great day trip with a fantastic guide

Our guide Binh was superb. He shared a lot of interesting information on the bus trips as well as throughout the day. He really enhanced the trip for us. While it is a long day, the tour moves along nicely and you get to see and do many activities. We felt it was a really worthwhile day trip.

This was the best thing ever

We took this tour and it was the best way we could finish 2024. Breathtaking views had us mesmerized for the majority of the trip. The trip itself was very well organized, our guide Cong Hau aka Happy, texted me a night before with all the details, made sure that we’d be picked up from the hotel we were staying at, then gave all the participants the run down of what we’d be doing, what to expect. Once we boarded he was engaging and provided us with all the info on i.e. Fishermen village, the history of the village, what’s the current status, how the fish farming is done, etc. He was a ray of sunshine. The trip itself was beautiful, magical, I loved it and if I could I’d do it every day till the rest of my life.
