Fun twist on a historical tour

Published on Feb, 2025

Britnee is a great, charismatic guide full of fun stories about early Philly. We hit a ton of the big tourism sites and got to hear the underground stories about them. Had a great time despite it being well below freezing - wear warm socks!!

Informative and slightly twisted historic Philly tour with knowledgeable guide

Published on Feb, 2025

It was a dark and stormy night…. No, really, it was rainy and gross, but this is still one of the best walking tours I’ve ever done. Brittni was fantastic. Her communication with us pre-tour was excellent, and as a result, we found the meeting place easily. She spent more than two hours telling us about bank robbers who ratted themselves out, ghosts who like to flip off security guards, why bankruptcy exists, why the liberty bell is now housed indoors and which of the founding fathers might have caught syphilis from high-end prostitutes. As an added bonus, my boyfriend and I ended up being the only two people on the tour (likely because of the weather), so it felt super personalized. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys the dark side of history. Things to note: You’ll be walking/standing outdoors the whole time. Wear comfy shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. There are no bathrooms, so get there early, and find one at a nearby hotel or restaurant before the tour starts.

Fun way to learn the lesser known facts and some great Philly history.

Educational and lots of fun. Great guide, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Visited sites in old city I didn’t know about and learned interesting history. Some uneven surfaces but it is old city after all.

Informative and entertaining, our guide was knowledgeable and hilarious. We saw parts of the city we had not seen before and learned lots of creepy, gross, and funny things we hadn’t learned before. Great tour, highly recommend. A bit of walking, some uneven surfaces , it is the old city after all.
