Great morning cyclying in the villages around yogyakata. Our Guide Widi was a wealth of local knowledge finding local fruits growing along the way along with teaching about village life and the history of the area. Although it was very hot, I would recommend to anyway as an active way to explore the area.

A fun way to explore Javanese village life

Really fun cycling tour to get a taste of village life and flora around super friendly Yogyakarta. I was there during the mango season and the fruit laden trees were a sight to behold. Learned a lot about the farming practices, crops grown, cottage industries such as tempeh making, fabric weaving etc. Towill was a friendly and entertaining guide. The driver was very courteous and drove safe.
Perfect way to explore the countryside

Dani was a great driver! He taught us a lot about Indonesian and Javan culture and explained some of the history which was great. He drove safely and was very polite and attentive. During the bicycle tour we were guided by Kiki who was great as well, she explained a lot about the countryside and Javan culture. We saw some local spices and products and even made some emping along the way. The lunch we had was also great as we got to taste some local items which I really enjoyed. Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone who is looking to enjoy and explore the country side of Yogjakarta.

We liked interacting with the villagers and learning about the different trades. The biking was not strenuous at all and the rice fields were peaceful.
