Overview

Enjoy a 4-hour cooking tour in the morning or in the afternoon including the visit to the colorful San Pedro Market. Our professional Peruvian chef will take you to the local market where you will see from fresh vegetables and fruits to souvenirs and handicrafts. You will experience the culture of Cusco for sure! Then, our chef will take you to our beautiful cooking studio for your “hands-on” classes to prepare the healthy and nutritious four-course tasting Peruvian Menu. The famous Pisco Sour will be included. You will definitely enjoy this unique experience!

Itinerary

Depending on the option you choose, whether it be in the morning or afternoon, our Chef will meet you at the main door of the San Pedro Market (door number 1). Here at the market we will enjoy of a visit. Our chef will show us the products that are sold there such as fruits, vegetables, meat, and more. It will be a great opportunity to experience local life. After the interesting tour, we are going to go to our cooking studio. You will be welcome with an herbal Muña tea and after you get ready, we will start preparing our delicious dishes. We will start with making a delicious pisco sour and depending on which option you choose you will prepare the following dishes: Lunch cooking classes: • Three ways trout tiradito • Mashua purée with chinese-peruvian style sauté mushrooms. • Quinoa tamales. • Local fruits tasting desserts. Dinner cooking classes: • Three ways Tiradito • Potatoes and moraya baked cake in tarwi and yellow chili sauce. • Mushroom quinnotto • Local fruits tasting desserts Of course we can accommodate to meal restrictions of our assistants. Every time a dish is completely prepared you will try it and share time with the other participants. It will be for sure a great experience too. Be sure that our chef will explain about the ingredients we will use in the preparation. You will for sure have a unique culinary experience with Cusco Culinary!

A thoroughly comprehensive and enjoyable experience of Cusco San Pedro market + learning to prepare Peruvian speciality dishes at the comfortable cooking studio that was both well designed and equipped. Mauricio was a marvellous teacher. Patient and attentive. And the dishes and drinks were excellent!

Excellent cooking experience with Mauricio, from the market visit to making every dish. Ingredients bought from the market were used in the dishes made. His knowledge and step by step instructions were so good. We all had a very good time together.

Great Culinary Experience in Cusco

Honestly one of the best experiences in Peru. In terms of the food, also one of the best meals we have had since arriving. Learning about the different ingredients and local styles in the market was fun and the cooking class itself was smooth. Great for beginners but I bet more experienced chefs could get more hands on if that's what they want. Big thank you to Chef Mauricio!
