Incredible experience in Peru!

Incredible trip with my daughter. Definitely one I will never forget, and will go down in the books for me. Porfi and Emerson, our guides made it fun, safe and so memorable. They were the best! Porfi shared so much knowledge in so many areas that I felt the heart and spirit of Peru and the Incas. I highly recommend Salkantay Treking for your next adventure in Peru and Machu Picchu. You won’t be disappointed!

It was a bit rainy in March, but that didn’t stop us from being able to experience how amazing the trek was. Porfi and Emerson made sure we had the best time and all kept safe!

This was an amazing journey and trek. It was very challenging and we faced some tremendous weather conditions as the rainy season decided to last a bit longer than normal. I’m not sure I would not have been able to do it without our guide Carlos the Mountain King. Truly he is so experienced, kind, and funny. He made us feel like family. When we had some challenges he prepared us with them and we had so much fun. This company puts safety first and I saw the difference with the other companies. They also really support the local communities and hire them to assist us and cook food at many stops. This is important to me that a company gives back and provides support to the local communities. Shout out to our chef Luis he made amazing food in insane conditions. Honestly the trip could have taken a turn bc the weather was not great. But Carlos made it more than amazing. He put in so much effort and always motivated me and kept me safe.
