A 45 minute cruise around the lake or hop on & off throughout the day. Our guide will give commentary at various points along the route pointing out interesting places along the way, including Pier Cottage, Bluebird and Donald Campbell’s base, Holly Howe featured in Swallows and Amazons, Brantwood, the former home of John Ruskin and the Coniston fells including Coniston Old Man.

A great way to see Coniston lake and learn about local landmarks and history.

We chose this cruise as an end to a perfect day after walking up to the copper mine and back. Dave and Nat were our hosts and we were the only passengers on the way out so we got the personal tour experience as he answered our questions which was much better than the scripted version he normally gives to a full boat. I would highly recommend this trip especially if you want to visit Brantwood House as the roads there are very narrow.
