Our first stop will be Rosario Square, where you'll uncover why people stand there all day – it's the hub of the informal emerald trade! Next, we'll head to a workshop where we have demonstrations of the extraction and carving process of this precious stone. Finally, we'll visit a jewelry store to witness how these exquisite jewels are ultimately sold. At the end of the tour, we'll explore the Emerald Museum, where you'll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.     In this place informal emerald trade hub takes place.

  • Emerald Trade Center

    We will enter the Emerald Trade Center, a building dedicated to the formal trade of emeralds. There, we will learn about the differences in quality and discover some emeralds with special characteristics that are unique to Colombia.

  • Museo Internacional De La Esmeralda

    At the Emerald Museum, we will see a representation of an emerald mine tunnel and enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the 23rd floor of the Avianca building.
