Excellent Coimbra tour

José was a super guide! He took us on a walking tour of the main historic buildings of Coimbra and gave us enough historical informations and anecdotes about the sites to make the tour very interesting! He was very well prepared and at the end gave us a list full of good recommendations. We highly recommend José.

Mr Jose is an excellent guide and his walking tour of the city was very informative. This tour is highly recommended especially if you are on a short trip to the city of Coimbra. Mr Jose kept us engaged throughout the two and a half hour tour.

Our walking tour with José was the perfect way to get an overview of the amazing culture and history of Coimbra. He was very knowledgeable and had a knack for integrating interesting and amusing anecdotes along the way. His notebook of historical images added additional depth and color to the tour. He also gave everyone a handout with useful addresses and helpful phrases in Portuguese, and even helped me and my wife book an evening performance of fado music. We can highly recommend José's tour!
