Overview

The story of Natal is told by monuments such as the Reis Magos Fortress, which refers to the foundation of the city, historic buildings that were the scene of the city's participation in World War II, to the modern Dunas Arena, stadium that hosted the 2014 World Cup . During this tour you will also get to know the curiosities, habits and details of the Natal culture, exalted in the work of the historian Câmara Cascudo and expressed through the handicraft and the rich gastronomy of the state!

Itinerary

  • Metropolitan Cathedral

    After pick up at the hotels, passengers continue their journey to enjoy the panoramic tour through the streets of the historic center. Your tour proceeds through the neighborhoods of Santos Reis, Rocas and Ribeira, areas where Natal began its urban growth. Then it's on to the city center where you'll visit the cathedral of Natal.

    Afterwards, an optional boat ride on the Potengi River, to have a privileged view of the historic center.

  • Reis Magos Fortress (Pass By)

    During the optional boat ride, you will see The Reis Magos Fortress. Perched on the rocks overlooking the ocean, this fascinating structure, the first milestone of the city, is sure to capture your amazement!

  • Arena das Dunas

    Afterwards, tourists are invited to an optional visit to the athlete-restricted areas of the Dunas Arena, including changing rooms, a warm-up room and even the field!

  • Mercado de Ponta Negra

    To continue the tour, you will visit craft centers, where it is impossible not to be enchanted by the pieces of colored sand, embroidery and other typical artistic productions in the region. At the Ponta Negra Market, you can try cashew nuts prepared in different ways.

  • Cotovelo Beach

    Finally, tourists will enjoy the afternoon at Cotovelo Beach, where they will be able to taste typical dishes of the local cuisine while enjoying the warm waters of this enchanting beach.

Yesterday's tour was outstanding. Even though I am not fluent in Spanish the tour guide who doesn't speak English he made sure that he took the time to make sure I understood. One person who spoke English helped me and everyone else was accommodating

Ursula Physes is an excellent guide. Perfect English, very caring and considerate and, though Natal is a bit limited for exciting sites, our guide gave us an interesting 6 hour tour. With Ursulas gentle persuasive style she talked us into normally closed places. She is a star.
