Review for Chef Vu Cooking Class in Hanoi We had an amazing experience with Chef Vu! The class was intimate, with a small group of just eight people, which made it feel personal and interactive. Chef Vu was engaging, knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting insights about Vietnamese cuisine. The highlights were definitely the crispy pancake, the zucchini flower spring rolls, and, of course, the classic pho—we learned new techniques that I can’t wait to try at home! It was very hands-on, and Chef Vu made sure everyone felt involved. Overall, an excellent way to immerse yourself in Hanoi’s food culture. Highly recommend!

We decided to join Chef Vu's cooking class to learn about Vietnamese food since our knowledge of it was very much limited to pho and banh mi. We ended up learning about the herbs and spices that go with each dish and how to properly cook them. The trip to the market was really enjoyable, and Chef was always ready to explain anything about the ingredients when you asked. Great memories made at Cyclo Resto! Thanks, Chef!

It was fantastic! Got picked up at our hotel by the cyclos then a tour of the sites of the city A visit to the food market , the produce looked so fresh Then a short walk to the restaurant We cooked 4 dishes each was tasty and delicious some of the best food we tasted in veitnam They emailed the recipes so we can try them at home! Totally recommend

Very professional, fun and delicious food. Highly recommend. The kitchen is above the restaurant, on the day the menu was adjusted for me as I dont eat seafood. Very impressed. I loved the pork stuffed pumpkin flowers. 5 stars from us x

We learned to make four delicious Vietnamese dishes, and it was an incredible experience! The chef was fantastic—very thorough in their explanations, making it easy for even beginners to follow along. Each dish turned out wonderfully, and I was thrilled to see how everything came together. The flavors were amazing, and I left feeling not only satisfied but also proud of what I had created. This class was a joyful highlight of my trip. HIGHLY recommended!!!
