You can't visit Italy without trying at least one pasta dish... So, we'll teach you two! Learn how to roll 'sfoglia' (fresh pasta) by hand and how to prepare 2 simple different kinds of pasta from scratch with your Cesarina. As the icing on the cake you will learn to prepare also the iconic Tiramisu. Share your passion for the Italian cuisine as you make new friends in this hands-on cooking class. Itinerary

Learn to make the famous Pasta and tiramisù in local homes with this hands-on cooking class. Discover, cook and experience the most iconic Italian dishes with expert home cooks in their own homes. This is a shared cooking class held in a carefully selected local home in Alberobello. Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

An Evening to Remember

Maria was an absolute delight! To my great surprise and fortune, I had the experience all to myself as I was the only one signed up that day. This made the cooking class even more special, as I got to work alongside Maria one-on-one. She is incredibly caring, gentle, and passionate about sharing her love for cooking. Together, we made orecchiette, ravioli, and tiramisu—each step filled with laughter and learning. Afterward, we enjoyed a lovely dinner together, where we talked about life, Alberobello, and the beauty of Puglia. It was an unforgettable evening that gave me a truly authentic glimpse into the heart of this stunning region.

Lucrezia and Stefano welcomed us to their home with open arms. One of the sweetest couples in all of Italy. They had a table for us with snacks before we even got started. We then learned how to make traditional Tiramasu which we then let set in their freezer. Lucrezia then patiently taught us how to make 2 fairly difficult pastas which was really appreciated. We knew the difficulty from other pasta making classes where we made much simpler styles. Lucrezia also cooked the pasta with homemade sauces from her garden on the property. It was super nice they made the meals meat free upon request for my wife. 10 out 10. This felt like a truly authentic experience. Thanks so much for your graciosuness and can't wait to do this again.

Perfect experience to learn traditional cooking and have lunch. We felt at home right away and we were able to learn how to make 2 different pastas and tiramisu. The appetizers were incredible as well, made with all homemade and home grown ingredients on their own farm. I recommend this experience to anyone that wants to have an authentic Italian lunch in the countryside. The only thing I will say is that it was not in Alberobello. We were placed in a town 30 minutes from there in Noci, which we had to change our plans for because we planned on spending the day there

Mariuccia Balsamo welcomed us into her home and made us feel very comfortable. We made orecchiette and ravioli filled with mortadella, ricotta, Parmesan, zucchini & then tiramisu. We had a lovely dinner with her and her husband. She needs to be paid more for what she is doing!!
