Overview

Our Cannes Food Tour is a walking tour in small groups around the old town. The tourist is guided by a Local Expert able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Our tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing X culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. Have a full meal in at least 4 stops: you will get the chance to try some of the most iconic Provençal dishes, such as Pissaladière, fish-based dishes, Fleur de Courgettes and, of course, Provençal wine!

Itinerary

    In a special location close to the market, you will enjoy a delicious glass of Provençal wine with some snacks like terrine and tartinable. A great way to start your food journey in Cannes

    Near the market, have a slice of Pissaladière, a local onion tart made with a kind of pizza dough. It is traditionally baked in a wood-fired oven and garnished with olives and anchovies. It will be served with another staple of Provençal street food: les fleurs de courgettes!

    Enjoy a typical Provençal dish,that changes everyday according to the local products arriving from the sea or the land. The dishes on offer depend on the season.

Our tour guide was Vanessa and she had excellent communication before and during the tour. The ship we were on was not docked at the pier so we had to tender in. We were able to communicate through the app and they knew that we might be a few minutes late if we went to a different pier than the one I understood we were supposed to go into. However things worked out that we went in to the same place we expected to. The restaurant which is the meeting port is just at the end of the pier so it’s a very easy walk. It was a very rainy day in Cannes Vanessa made the best of it difficult situation. We had a very nice group of people and we really enjoyed what she had to say and just tasting a bit of the local food and also knowing more than what we would have how we just wandered around by ourselves. It was really worthwhile and thank Vanessa for being such a nice person. We would definitely recommend going on this trip.
