This isn't just a Brooklyn NYC food and drink walking tour. Learn how each establishment's owners found their way to Brooklyn and how they've impacted the Williamsburg, Brooklyn community. Dive into Brooklyn's history, from 1800s immigrants to its vibrant present. You'll also have opportunities for the perfect photoshoot -- right by the Brooklyn waterfront! Other things to note: - This is a walking tour - The tour is inclusive of food and beverages - Please share any dietary restrictions or preferences ahead of time. The tour cannot accommodate a gluten free diet - This tour is suitable for locals, national and international tourists!

Meeting points

Meet outside of Honeybird Coffee, located steps from the East River Ferry and 5-10 minutes from the L subway. From Honeybird, we will all walk together to our first location!

    We'll begin our journey at the beautiful waterfront. You'll see spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, making for the perfect photo opportunity

Angels is known for its outstanding bagel sandwiches, which we will all enjoy together!

Brooklyn eats!

Our group of 10 had a great time with Rachel. The food selections were great and varied and we left feeling satisfied. Rachel also talked about the local history of Brooklyn and how the restaurant owners related to the community. It was a great trip!

Every time we travel to a new place my husband and I take a food tour and this one was one of the best. Our tour guide Ms. Kaplan knew the area very well and was super knowledgeable about the food and back stories of the stops and the area Sadly, she doesn’t really do tours anymore but she took us on anyway and we are really happy she did.

We had a fabulous day with Rachael! The food was delicious and the bonus was learning the history of Brooklyn/Williamsburg from a local. I was with my lifelong best friend on a perfect summer day.

Supporting Small Businesses/Eating Great Food

Rachel did a terrific job of having us sample delicious food while giving us some history of the area. We were especially intrigued by the stories of the small business owners. I would like to go back to all of these restaurants and more. The only thing that would make this even better is if there were a couple more tasting stops just to add to the variety.
