Overview

Enjoy this 1.5 hour cruise around Boston Harbor on classic 1920s-style Yacht Northern Lights. Relax in the indoor grand salon area or venture to the top, outdoor deck for more sweeping views of the Harbor. Some notable sites include great views of Boston's skyline, Old North Church, Bunker Hill Monument, USS Cassin Young, and the USS Constitution along with Boston's Harbor Islands. Bring your camera! Grab a beverage or light snacks from the bar (available for purchase by credit card).

Meeting points

The boat departs from Rowes Wharf, directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, located at (for GPS) 400 Atlantic Avenue, Boston (02110). Check-in at Rowes Wharf is located in the Ferry Terminal, a climate controlled public space, located on the wharf only steps away from our dock. If guests are lost or running late, please call us at 617-951-2460.

Beautiful View of the City from the Water

We enjoyed the tour very much. It was a windy day so it was a bit cold on the top deck but we still enjoyed it. The captain gave us some commentary on certain areas but not the whole time which we appreciated. It was fun to sail under the planes landing at the airport. The boat (Northern Lights) is beautiful and very comfortable. It was not a full tour so we had plenty of room. You get a beautiful view of the city from the water.

great relaxing 1 1/2 hours. very nice to sit and see the Boston sky line from the harbor. Plenty of room to sit and relax and have a drink as there's a bar on board. The captian giving comentry of the main points we were seeing. And an added bonus of seals swimming in the harbor.

Beautiful views of the city from the Harbor! A relaxing, enjoyable experience. Highlights of the city were pointed out but it wasn't a continuous narration of Boston. It allowed my husband and me to enjoy a cocktail, each other, and the views.
