When planning our recent trip to Jamaica, my wife really wanted to go to the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston. I found this tour on Viator, but the price gave me some pause. But we figured why not? and I booked it. And what a tour! Just to be clear, this is a private tour. Our driver, Norman, picked us up at hotel and drove us to and from the museum. He was very friendly and a great guide. During the whole trip, he told us about the areas of the island we were traveling through. The new toll road is quite an achievement, and cuts a great deal of time off the trip. We made it from just outside Ocho Rios to the museum in a little over an hour. While the museum itself is not large, it covers a great deal of information about Bob Marley's life, music, and philosophy, On the return trip, Norman gave us a short tour of Kingston - up into Beverly Hills for an overview of the city, then downtown and by the waterfront. And on the trip back, he took us part of the way on the old road - through the Cobre River Gorge and over the Flat Bridge. While the tour was expensive, it was a great experience and well worth it.
