Overview

- Ratio: Maximum 4 per instructor 1. Starting Meet your instructor, fellow students and start 40 min basic dive theory. 2. Try scuba dive Begin your underwater experience with 1 dive in direct contact with an SSI professional, starting at 0 meters to a maximum of 5 meters while focusing on techniques, skills, and exercises! 3. Second Dive: You can decide to go for a second dive on the same day. No skills, no exercises, just diving! The second dive will be at a maximum depth of 12 meters. ( additional price)

SSI Try Scuba Diving is a program for you who either don’t have the time to complete a full course or only want to try scuba diving. This program takes about 6-8 hours, includes some basic theory and skills.

The company was great, they really explain everything in detail before diving so you feel more confident for your dives! We had Oni as our instructor and he was great and made sure everyone was always okay and enjoying themselves. As our first dive we had ever done I felt very happy I chose scuba club! Would definitely recommend!

The best time during basic diver

We had an amazing experience with Nui and the team! Our group of four completed the basic diver course, and while we were initially a bit nervous, Nui's clear instructions and the brief training session helped us feel comfortable right away. During the dives, Nui, Bell, and Nadeya were all incredibly supportive, ensuring we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. We’re excited for future dives with Koh Tao scuba club

I eas a bit afraid at first, but William was very patient and nice! Great experience. If I would come to Koh Tao again I will definetily do it again.

Amazing first scuba experience

Amazing first scuba experience with Koh Tao Scuba Club. My friend and I did the try scuba experience day and night were so so glad we did it with KT Scuba Club. We started with an introduction and theory session with Angel who was super knowledgable and very approachable with questions and made us all laugh. Then they gave us all lunch before we met back up and headed out on the boat, which was stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits, water and fruit for us. We were super lucky to have William as our dive guide who recapped the safety and theory elements with us before we got our gear on and were in for our first dive. We then were back on the boat and went to the next dive spot and were in again. William was super patient, reassuring, and obviously very skilled. He was a big part of making sure we had a great time and felt super safe and comfortable. Although we felt a little nervous when we were just about to get into the water, all the staff were on hand to make sure you were comfortable but able to push through to make the most of the experience!
