Marquis Estate

After hotel pickup in Castries or Gros Islet, meet your experienced guide, who will ensure your ease and comfort aboard a fun and fully automatic Yamaha ATV. Hop on your ATV for an easy ride that takes you along trails to your first stop at a working banana plantation. Pass villagers going about their daily activities as you drive through small settlements on your way to the Marquis Estate, established in 1723. Situated on the stunning northeast coast of St Lucia, the Marquis Estate was one of the largest private estates during the island's heyday in the late 18th century. See for yourself as you look out over Marquis Bay with its pristine white sands and clear, turquoise waters. Tucked in a lush tropical valley, this breathtaking 500-acre (202-hectare) also offers relics of St Lucia’s past, including a water wheel, an old locomotive, ruins of a sugar mill, and even slave quarters that housed men and women who toiled under British rule until their emancipation in 1833.
Grande Anse

Next, head to another lookout point for some of the best tropical beach scenery on this side of the Atlantic! Stop at the top of Grande Anse Beach for refreshing fruit juices, and view one of the most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean. Your guide will tell you about the green, hawksbill and leatherback turtles that lay their eggs here from March to August. Before following your guide back to the base camp, learn about local researchers’ efforts to track the turtles, which swim great distances to return to their nesting sites each year. After your ATV adventure, you’ll be dropped off at your local hotel. A minimum 2 people per booking is required.

Our tours operate rain or shine. In the event of rain, we will provide rain ponchos to keep you dry during the tour.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, as well as closed-toe shoes. On rainy days, we also recommend bringing a change of clothes in case you get wet during the tour.

Booked this tour through the Sandals Grande resort excursions desk. Michael was our guide, and was clearly very knowledgeable about the area and history of the island. We had a great time zipping through the streets and up the mountains to the banana plantation. Overall we would highly recommend - both of our guides (Michael & unfortunately I forget the other’s name…) were friendly, informative, and added to the experience.

I traveled to beautiful St. Lucia for the 1st time with my daughter and niece's. I was very hesitant, as this was my first ever ATV tour and never experienced controlling one. The tour instructors were truly amazing, patient, informative and a pleasure to follow. On the surrounding Castries and Rainforest trek, was just beautiful to take all the lush vegetation and travel through. This is a MUST DO! LOVED EVERY MOMENT of it!!!

Great day ! Like being kids again - I was a passenger so enjoyed the scenery - I got soooooo muddy - going through puddles and water - definitely recommend it guys were very friendly and helpful

It’s a great ATV tour! The only thing I wished for is a bit more challenging roads but unfortunately those were a “no go” due to a high level of water. A very welcome bonus - later on, Michael (one of the tour guides) met us and showed us a great restaurant on the island.
