Arenal Volcano

Arenal Volcano National Park is a spectacular site in Costa Rica, famous for its impressive 1,670 meter conical volcano, which still features geothermal activity. Surrounded by rainforest and breathtaking views, the park is home to rich biodiversity, including monkeys, sloths, toucans and red-eyed frogs. Well-marked trails lead to viewpoints with unique panoramas of the volcano and Lake Arenal, the largest body of water in the country.
