Wonderful tour of the Angkor Wat temple complex with expert guide Praim

We had a splendid day at the Angkor Archaeological Park. Our guide, Praim, greeted us promptly at our hotel and gave us an overview of the history of Cambodia to start the day as we drove to the historical site. We started at the Angkor Wat site which was one of 5 temple sites over the course of the day. Praim's english was very good. He had a wealth of in depth historical knowledge of each site and gave us a primer before we explored each site. He knew where to get great photos and did a superb job capturing our experience of both of us over the day - especially some trick pano shots to properly capture the enormity of the sites. It was incredibly hot and humid but he was well-prepared with cold water and chilled towels as we travelled between sites in a comfortable air-conditioned SUV. He was happy to field any of our questions, even about Cambodian queries beyond the tour itinerary. We were particularly impressed as to his knowledge of the inscriptions and the meanings behind the mural carvings at each of the sites that really enriched the overall experience. It wasn't optimal viewing for a sunset on our particular day but Praim made some accommodations to finish the day well. We highly recommend this tour and you would be blessed to have Praim as your guide.

An absolutely excellent tour. Our guide, Samnang, was perfectly on time to meet us at our hotel. He had heaps of interesting information and answered all our questions (even those not about the tour and just about his country). The car we were picked up in was big, clean and cool. And generally the entire experience was great. Thanks Samnang you were great!
