Overview

This private day trip from Siem Reap highlights the main temples of the Angkor archaeological complex, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built between the 9th and 13th centuries when the Khmer Empire was the preeminent influence in Southeast Asia, the temples at Angkor were believed to represent the cosmic world. See Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument, as well as the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom and the jungle temple of Ta Prohm.

  • Temples in Cambodia considered as a sacred place, visiting the temples require all visitors to wear a respectful dress code, pants or skirt that long enough to cover your knees, shirt with sleeves cover your shoulders, singlets or tank tops, mini skirt, short pants, shirt without sleeves are not allowed to entry some places. A comfortable sport shoes is recommended, bring your umbrella or raincoat during rainy reason (May - November).
  • Professional commercial camera or Video have to request approval letter from the authority, otherwise, is not allowed to bring in.
  • Sun UV is generally strong through the whole year round in Cambodia, so we recommend you to prepare your necessary sun protection stuffs, such as sun lotion (cream), sun glasses, hat.

Best Temple Experience

We spent one full day visiting the temple's at Siem Reap. Sopan our guide was wonderful. He took the time to explain the intricacies of the temple's architecture and history. And oh BTW he knows the best spots to take the best pic's. We enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend Sopan as a guide.

Most Memorable and Must Visit Sieam Reap

Its our first awaited international tour, it's not one day as described above, it's 4 days we did the trip in Sieam Reap which includes, national museum, all major pre and post Angkorian temple's, which are magnificent in terms of ther built, sculptures and natural buity. Each temples are unique by there architecture and forms, we really enjoyed the hospitality to the core and we are very happy by seeing all the major monuments. Our sincere gratitude to our tour guide Mr. Southy who is very cooperative and has good knowledge and familiar about the place, he is really supportive and he not only guide formally explaining about the monuments in the our itenary, he helped us in understanding the really culture and people of Cambodia he also supported us in terms of our food, local transportation, shoping etc,. Our stay in Holy Angor Hotel is really good. Food is delicious and all other amenities are very nice. Thank you very much to K.york Travel Sevice, Standy and Team for making this trip most memorable part of our chapters, thank you once again for your team.

An incredible experience with the tour guide Mr.Sothy. The tour guide and the driver are both humble, courteous and helpful. The tour guide is experienced, knowledgeable with the history and explained in a simple way. Further the tour guide planned the tour considering the expected bad weather conditions on that day. The advanced planning helped us to complete the tour as planned and not affected by the expected showers. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour any one planning to visit Angkorwat temple complex. Anandan
