Aloha Kai Luau is located at Sea Life Park which is a marine mammal park, bird sanctuary, and aquarium. Sea Life Park is Hawaii's best wild life marine park & aquarium. You can either drive yourself or you can be escorted via tour bus while you enjoy the interesting and entertaining commentary by the driver. Some of the places you will pass are on the way to Aloha Kai Luau are Diamond Head, Koko Head, Hanauma Bay, Lanai Lookout, Halona Blowhole, Sandy Beach, Makapuu Beach, and Makapuu lighthouse. Again, Just 25 minutes from Waikiki which is much closer than other luaus where you have to get on the highway and drive up to 90 minutes, the luau setting is worth the short journey — Enjoy Oahus highest sea cliffs towering behind with moonlit skies reflecting off to Deep blue Pacific Ocean in your front view.

Don't leave without a Luau Experience

A Luau is where strangers are invited to dine with locals in a festive atmosphere, so this was a perfect Hawaiian experience for a first time visitor to Oahu like me. We upgraded our GoCity passes to include the both early entry to Sea Life Park and the Aloha Kai Luau (at the same site), and it was well worth it. The Luau included 2 drinks and a full buffet dinner of traditional roasted pig, whitefish, salmon, teriaki chicken, and an assortment of salads. There was a preshow that included craft stations to learn traditional dance, or make a leaf wreath, or get a local tattoo, etc. One of the early highlights before dark was to watch one of the performers climb up a coconut tree! The highlight of the night was the hour+ entertainment of traditional song & dances from the five major Polynesian island groups (Hawaii, Tonga, Samoa, New Zealand, and French Polynesia). The last performance was the fire dancers, and they did NOT disappoint! It was probably the highlight of my time here!

The view was amazing, the food was great! And the entertainment was incredible!! Highly recommend this Luau! The staff was super accommodating! Our original reservation was cancelled due to pouring rain, but we were rebooked the following night! Amazing experience!

I recently went here with friends and family in December. The food was DELICIOUS! The buffet had so many different options and I definitely got a little bit of everything so I could make sure I got to try each food option, and make sure for seconds lol. The entire show was entertaining from start to finish. We were able to go up and learn some dances. And they even selected my boyfriend and friend to go on stage! We all had such an amazing time and would 10/10 recommend to anyone.
