Overview

Feel like the last Nasrid king in this unique experience to discover the Alhambra and the Generalife at the hands of a historian. You will discover the legends, secrets, history and architecture of the Nasrid monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With this private experience we will visit the different areas of the monument without haste, stopping to savor each scene, listen to the murmur of the fountains and get intoxicated with its smells. *The schedule may vary depending on the availability of Alhambra tickets

  • Generalife

    We will walk through the magnificent romantic gardens that surround the summer palace of the Nasrid, the Generalife and visit the interior of it.

  • Palace of Carlos V

    We will explore the old Medina of the Alhambra, the archaeological remains of the houses and the imperial palace of Emperor Charles V

  • Alcazaba

    We will discover the oldest area of the Alhambra, the Alcazaba, where the soldiers who protected the sultan lived and we will enjoy the incredible views of the city from its towers.

  • Nasrid Palaces

    We will visit the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra, the architectural jewel that the Muslims left in Granada. We will discover the Palace of the Mexuar, the patio of the myrtles and the Throne Room of the Palace of Comares, the imperial rooms and the famous Palace of the Lions.

Amazing insight in the Alhambra

Sergio was a fantastic guide. I know we were able to see things that we would not have seen with a large group. His expertise was appreciated by my family. He even made accommodation for one of our group that had some mobility issues so the rest of us were not impacted & were able to see everything we wanted. I would definitely book with Sergio again!

The Alhambra is a huge attraction in Granada and not to be missed. Hiring a guide is almost necessary to fully appreciate the history of the place. Our guide Sergio was very knowledgeable and a great guide. Sergio made the tour very fun and interesting.

Worth it to see the Alhambra

Borja was an excellent guide. We are very glad we picked this tour with a historian as we learned so much. He was able to explain the history, culture, and the meaning behind the architecture. We covered all the palaces, with each one more ornate than the previous one. It was a good pace. And he was able to answer all of the questions we posed. I’d highly recommend the tour and Borja the guide.

Sergio was fantastic, from start to finish. He managed to find tickets on short notice and the price was reasonable. There were four of us and we had a private guide by an engaging historian who gave us the context we needed. He’s trustworthy and friendly. An excellent guide.
