A morning with the elephants is an eye-opening and inspiring experience. Following a scenic drive along a local village you will arrive at Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, a picturesque jungle dotted with ponds, wide open fields and hillsides for the elephants to roam around. Your visit starts at our Tree Top Lounge, where we will show you a presentation and educational video to prepare you for your encounter with the elephants, and to help you understand why they need to be protected. Next up, the elephants are fed. While they enjoy their baskets of bananas, pineapples and cucumbers, you have a chance to learn from our guides about the background of each elephant. Once the elephants are fed, we follow them down into the jungle. By keeping a safe distance and watching them from our Observation Salas, the elephants have the freedom to express their natural behavior, from bathing and playing in our pond to socializing with each other. The program ends with a delicious Thai vegetarian meal.

Very informative and delightful experience! Tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Itās clear that the sanctuary cares deeply for the well being of the elephants. Drivers were also very accommodating in driving us back to our next destination. Would recommend for anyone visiting Phuket.

Superb trip done ethically! Visited for the morning, very well organised and delivered by passionate staff who really care about what they are doing. The chance to get up close with these amazing creatures is so humbling.

This trip was everything we hoped for. Communication was excellent even before we booked as questions regarding pick up were promptly answered. Once booked we were clear about what to expect. Tour, our guide, interacted with all the group showing interest with us all and taking copious amounts of photographs for everyone. It was a wonderful experience to be so close to the elephants in what is a natural environment for them. Feeding them was a real treat! They all seemed happy and contented. It was sad to hear about their lives before they were rescued and brought to their new home in the sanctuary.

Fantastic morning with the elephants. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food provided on arrival & on departure. Plenty of water, mosquito spray & cold face cloths offered. The elephants look so happy & well cared for. All proceeds go towards the elephants. Currently building an elephant hospital on site. Facilities very clean. Very relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to all the team.

Wonderful and enriching experience. I was so relieved to see a genuine, ethical elephant sanctuary in Phuket. With so much senseless animal cruelty all over Thailand (sadly still perpetuated by ignorant tourists) I was so happy to contribute to improvibg the lives of formerly exploited elephants of Phuket. It was so emotional seeing these incredible animals enjoying their new life free from chains and torture.
