Overview

We sail through the bay of Paracas and see the largest peninsula that we have in Peru. We then stop at a point north of the Paracas peninsula to look at, photograph and film the Chandelier where the tour guide will briefly explain the measurements, materials from the area and their possible origin. The navigation continues and after approximately 15 minutes from the Chandelier you will arrive at the Ballestas Islands. Bird watching lovers will find a large number of these such as: seagulls, terns, boobies, cormorants, pelicans, vultures and Humboldt penguins. Definitely the highlight of the tour are the sea lions. Paracas National Reserve, relax as you travel by modern transportation through the Reserve, which protects a desert coastal landscape favored by seabirds, including flamingos. Dramatic scenery and the opportunity to see these striking pink birds attract photographers and bird lovers alike.

  • Islas Ballestas

    Ballestas Islands Tour.- We will board our slider with 02 outboard motors that will take us to the wonderful Ballestas Islands, we stop after about 10 minutes at a northern point of the Paracas peninsula to look at, photograph and film the Chandelier where the guide tourism in summary will explain about the measures, materials of the area and its possible origin. Then we will continue our trip to the most important majestic wildlife sanctuary on the Peruvian coast, where we will observe sea lions, booby birds, pelicans, penguins and other seabirds. The return becomes relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze is a natural anti-stress.

  • Paracas National Reserve

    You will have 1 free hour to walk along the boardwalk, and then board our vehicle to begin our group trip to the Paracas Reserve. During your tour, you will learn more about the Paracas Reserve by observing all the fauna, flora and many other important facts about the Paracas Peninsula. We will then drive through a lifeless desert until we reach an area where once stood a large natural rock formation known as the Cathedral. Unfortunately, this old formation did not withstand the earthquake of 2007. In this place you will have stunning views of the desert and the blue ocean and see thousands of sea birds, and then you will visit Red Beach. Without a doubt, the Tour to the Paracas National Reserve is something unique to see in Peru.

Informative and fun experience. The animals that we saw were super unique to the area. The landscapes shown in the land portion were beautiful.

Amazing tour. Such beautiful and surreal landscape. Felt like we had landed on another planet. Wonderful, engaged, and funny guide. Highly recommended. But make sure to take the longer tour with hiking since the hke was by far the best.

I loved this tour! The Ballestas Islands portion was separate from the National Reserve portion; both were good. The Islands tour was provided by a boat company, but the National Reserve tour was done by the Paracas Explorer staff, and they were great. Driver and guide were super friendly and helpful, the guide was VERY knowledgeable about all aspects of the reserve. Lunch was at a restaurant the guide recommended, and that was excellent too!

The reserve is beautiful and very interesting. The guide girl was knowledgeable and great answering questions from us. Overall, great visit. We loved it.
