So for my 30th birthday, my partner and I finally went on a safari in Tanzania. And let me tell you, for a 90s kid like me who basically grew up on The Lion King, this was a total childhood dream come true!
Honestly, words just can't do justice to how amazing this trip was. I was blown away by everything – the crazy cool animals, the awesome culture, and the hospitality was out of this world.
Yusuph: Our Safari MVP. This guy is an absolute pro. You could just tell he has tons of experience and knows about the animals and all the places we visited. He taught us so much cool stuff about the wildlife and every single area we explored. He basically made our trip a huge success.
But beyond just being super knowledgeable guide, Yusuph is just an incredible person. He really looked out for us, making sure we were comfy and had everything we needed. I even noticed him cleaning the jeep every night so it was sparkling clean for us each morning. It's those little things that seriously made our experience next-level.
The Tanzanian people are just the nicest humans ever, and their hospitality is something I'll never forget. We felt so welcome everywhere we went.
We are definitely, 100% coming back to Tanzania. And you can bet we'll be heading back with Yusuph and Lion King Adventures! This wasn't just a trip; it was the trip.
