Overview

Shiretoko Goko (Five Lakes) in winter is a special world of tranquility where only a limited number of people are allowed to walk. Only during the severe winter season can visitors walk on the surface of the lakes, which are beautiful from spring to autumn, with snowshoes. The magnificent view of the silvery white Shiretoko mountain range against the clear blue sky and the drift ice that covers the sea beyond the horizon during the drift ice season are unparalleled. This tour can only be experienced in the middle of winter in Shiretoko.

Took the Furepe Waterfall Trekking, Night Drive Wildlife, and Shiretoko Goko Trekking Everything was perfect and amazing. Our guide Mr Keke and Yuka speak really good english and give us so much information about the wildlife that we encounter The tour exceed my expectations. We will definitely go back in Winter or Summer to do more things in Shiretoko. Thank you!
