Glide across a lagoon to a mangrove island where you will get up close to the mangrove trees, plants, sea birds, and marine life. Your guide will lead you to the best spots, providing informative explanations about the ecology, wildlife, and local history of the area. Paddle through calm waters amidst the enchanting mangroves, observing snowy egrets, great egrets, pelicans, ibises, various fish, and more. Learn about the biodiversity of this vital ecosystem, and its role in protecting the shoreline and nurturing small marine life. Visit a beautiful sandbar in the heart of this lagoon. Take a break, swim, wade, or simply relax on your kayak. Watch out for stingrays, eagle rays and dolphins that often frequent the area. While you relax, your guide will install the electric motor for your relaxing return trip. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this intracoastal ecosystem. Note that swimming at the sandbar stop is weather and tidal conditions dependent for safety and enjoyment. Bring your favorite snacks and drinks for the delightful break.

Absolutely fantastic tour! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mark and Fabia. We had such an amazing time watching stingrays, dolphins, sea stars, sea slugs, birds, etc. Such informative and personalized tour. Kayak seats were super comfortable as well. Fantastic time. Mark and Fabia are wonderful and knowledgeable people. We learned so much and saw so many creatures! On our outing we encountered stingrays, dolphins, sea cucumbers, sea snails, upside down jellyfish, etc. Choose this tour and you can't go wrong.

Great family kayak tour

This private kayak tour for our family of four was amazing! We saw dolphins and manatees that swam right up to our kayaks. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area’s wildlife, vegetation and history. The information he shared was very interesting. We also were able to hold crabs, and he pulled a jellyfish out of the water in a fishbowl for us to see closeup when we traveled through a mangrove forest. The kayaks were very comfortable, and the motors our guide added for the last hour of the trip made for an enjoyable ride back. As a bonus, our guide’s wife was on the trip, and she took photos and videos. She gave us over 60 photos that she took and a compilation video. We very highly recommend this tour!

Mark was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about the mangroves, birds and other creatures. The kayaks were very nice. Very comfortable seats that sat up high, plenty of room in the boat for a cooler, the oars were very lightweight and Mark put motors on the boats for the trip back to shore. We loved exploring the mangrove tunnels and watching the dolphins. We will be back next year!

Mark was an excellent guide! We learned so much about mangroves. I highly recommend this tour. The kayaks were a lot nicer than ones offered by other tours. Nice adjustable chairs, room for a cooler, a place to store items under your seat and the paddles were super light.
