Overview

You will be heading to the Caribbean Slope, crossing the beautiful Braulio Carrillo National Park until arrives to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui Region. On arrival, you will board your private boat for a relaxing ride on the Sarapiqui River where you will feel in close contact with nature and admire the inspiring surroundings. After the boat ride, you will continue to The Rain Forest Aerial Tram, a 475-hectares (1,200-acre) private reserve that shares a 10 km border with Braulio Carrillo National Park, constituting a buffer zone between the park and farming lands. At this beautiful location you will enjoy a private nature walk with our naturalist tour guide, a delicious lunch and 90 minutes Aerial Tram ride over the pristine rain forest of the Caribbean. This unique Aerial Tram Tour lets you live first hand all the secrets the forest keeps while you fly above the treetops and experience magnificent views of the Braulio Carrillo Park and a private reserve.

    The rainforest aerial tram is an ecological attraction where you will be able to enjoy the rain forest aboard a gondola that travel over the rain forest. The tram ride takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. Along the ride, a professional naturalist tour guide will explain you many interesting aspects of the tram construction, biodiversity, flora and fauna. After the tram ride, enjoy a nature walk into the easy trails for a closer contact with nature. A visit to the butterfly & snake garden is also included in this expedition. After all the activities, enjoy free time at the souvenir store before taste a deliciuos lunch at the main restaurant.

Personal, private and relaxing tour of the Sarapique River and rainforest canopy.

We had the most incredible day. Our personal guide was amazing. He is a local biologist, and we learned so much about micro climates, wildlife, and history. Plus , he was attentive , accommodating, and a lot of fun. He personalized our trip and made surprise stops along the way. The tour was outstanding. The river cruise was fascinating. We got to see so many animals, and the gondola ride through the rainforest canopy was relaxing and breathtaking. I highly recommend Greenway tours for the ultimate tour experience. Say goodbye to the big groups and uncomfortable tour buses. Ride in luxury SUV with ice cold AC, water, snacks, and relax in complete comfort. He even had cool towels for us!

Our tour guide, Ronald, and bus driver, Albert were superb! Both very caring working to ensure we had a good time as we learned about Costa Rica. We covered a lot of area at a comfortable pace. Ronald very well versed about Costa Rica's history and current state. Albert an amazing driver navigating the roads! It made us want to return for to Costa Rica another time. This was a great value!
